the CHARACTERS

OUR HERO: GRAHAM GOLD. Short and scrawny, GRAHAM GOLD is a quirky 15-year-old Long Island Jewish boy with a rather unusual dream: he longs to become a gameshow host. Graham’s in the preliminary round in his journey to stardom as he comes face-to-face with family drama, first love, and all those pesky challenges around growing up, until his anxiety gets the best of him and he retreats into the game show in his mind.

TRUDY GOLD, Graham's overbearing, yet caring mother. 40s-50.

MARTIN (MARTY) GOLD, Graham's hard-working father. 40s-50.

UNCLE DARYL, Graham's favorite un-related uncle. Black. 40s-50.

SARAH MEYER, Graham's crush. 16 years-old.

DOTTY, Graham's elderly neighbor, maybe his closest friend. 60s-70s.
